These terms govern quotes, fabrication and installation work performed by Officina della Materia LLC (“we,” “us”), a custom countertop and surface fabrication workshop located at 750 E Sample Rd, Bldg 3 Bay 5, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. By requesting a quote or scheduling a template visit, you agree to these terms.

Scope of work

We provide in-person templating, fabrication and installation of countertops and custom surfaces in stone (quartz, granite, quartzite) and wood. All work is performed within our Broward County service area. We do not sell products online and we do not ship goods; every job is completed by our crew on site.

Quotes and approval

After an in-person template visit, we provide a firm written quote. Fabrication begins only after you approve the quote in writing and pay the agreed deposit. Prices posted on this website are typical ranges; your final price is the amount stated on your written quote.

Deposits and payment

A deposit is due to schedule fabrication. The balance is due after the surface is installed and inspected at your property. We accept card, check, bank transfer and cash. There is no online checkout, subscription, or recurring charge.

Scheduling and access

You agree to provide safe access to the work area on the scheduled template and installation dates and to ensure cabinets or supporting structures are ready to receive the surface. Delays caused by inaccessible sites or unfinished cabinetry may require rescheduling.

Warranty

We warrant our fabrication and installation workmanship against defects for one year from the installation date. Material warranties, where offered by the slab manufacturer, are passed through to you. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, impact, or improper cleaning.

Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific job at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Natural stone and wood vary in color and veining; reasonable variation from a sample is not a defect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Broward County, Florida.
